Assists in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Interviews patients, measures vital signs (for example – pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height), and records information in patients’ charts

Who We Need
•High school diploma and medical assistant certificate with 1 to 2 years’ experience
•Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures
•Knowledge of spreadsheet software and word processing software such as Microsoft Word preferred. Able to enter information into an electronic medical record
•Good usage of the English language; reading, writing, and speaking required
•High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
•Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
•Good to excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills
•Excellent telephone and oral communication skills
•Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
•Must have correctable vision and no hearing impairment that would make normal conversations difficult to understand
